My mission is to help you achieve and maintain good health, and aid in the prevention of disease through the use of healthful, all natural foods.
We live in a time in which so many things compete for our attention such as our career, our finances, our relationships, etc., so that attending to our health often ends up last on our priority list. But when faced with a dire health issue – such as I was while struggling with cancer myself during the last years – I found myself drawing upon my cooking skills and studies of natural healing, in the end developing a regime of “Cooking for Cancer.”
After experiencing my own health and wellness successes through this “Cooking for Cancer” approach, I have been inspired to educate other people to utilize food as a tool in order to improve upon their condition. I firmly believe that we have to take an active role in keeping our body healthy. We can no longer afford to relinquish the responsibility for our health to the medical industry. It is our duty to preserve and keep our body healthy.
I now offer “Cooking for Cancer” classes, because I believe that especially when our health is compromised, we can no longer continue to poison our bodies with foods that are loaded with pesticides and preservatives. I follow the 80/20 rule — 80% raw and 20% cooked as well as 80% alkaline and 20% acidic food. In my cooking classes, I offer tips and guidelines how to create and maintain a satisfying and healthy diet in a simple and creative way.
